Trader P/L 2012

recently switched to futures...still learning, so only trading 1 contract.

 

How do you trade? Do you use any level 2 data? Consider NQ, TF and ES too.

 

never used level 2 before. try to KISS (keep it simple stupid) - learning price action, so single chart, no indicators.

 

tough conditions!

 

a tough day for the market, but a very easy day for with-trend traders.

Thought I'd also try and be one of those "look at my great day but don't ask about yesterday" guys. It's been very quiet with little movement either way the past few months.

Thanks njrookie and sellindexvol. A fairly bad first half for me though (36% thus far), quite a lot below my goal of 50% - can't blame a "bad trading environment" either as it clearly wasn't that. Would be interesting to know the first half results of people.

 

First half is not over yet still 1 more week to go. Will post results then.
