In stocks trading, it seems Sterling Pro platform, for example, is available only for prop. (The retail guys use other platforms like IB's TWS, TD's ThinkOrSwim, Etrade Pro, etc.) I understand you trade futures. I was just wondering what kind of platform has that type of screenshot (or what broker you're with). You appear to be a good trader and your choice of platform will probably be a good choice as well. (At the current rate, you will hit half a million a year. Very jealous. ^.^ Keep it up.) I'm thinking of venturing into futures and wondering what tools the good futures traders use.
Sterling is a popular platform for many equity prop shops (google "sterling trader"). Not necessary the best platform out there, especially when compared to what institutional traders use (i.e. Lime, RediPlus, Iress, etc.). Let's not get too far off-topic of Trade P/L.
No, I think you misunderstood. He meant to say that those similar screenshots that people have been posting are from IB accounts. I have an IB account and it looks exactly like that.
d08 notified me in PM. Thanks again anyhow for the information. Foolish me. (I'm not an IB customer and have looked at TWS just once, but only briefly. Other profitable traders, i.e. garachen and rallymode, also used IB for futures. Maybe there's something attractive there. But that's a topic for another post.) I'll let the thread gets back to Trader P/L now. Sorry for getting off-track.
