Take for Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Shutting down early today--feeling not sick, but not myself. Two kids home with the flu already. I am posting my average buys/sells today to illustrate that I am not a scalper (as some have asked me through PMs).
Been having some problems with my trading as of late. So I'm moving from 2 contracts back to 1 until I can get things under control w/ my ES trading. Lack of discipline has been the major problem along w/ cockiness from success the last few months. Nov. and Dec were my best months I've had yet, and January was one of my worst. Funny how trading works that way. Would have been a great day if not for the 1100-1115est 15 min candle. I bought at 1317.50, and it whacked my 2 point stop @1315.50 and immediately pushed up. Lol oh well.
January's loss is still kicking my ass, psychologically and its affecting my trading decisions. My strategy is still kicking ass, but I'm finding myself making poor executions, and poor decisions exiting trades. Hence todays pathetic day. Gonna stay at 1 contract through Feb 18th, then reevaluate if I should go back to 2. My currency trading has been spot on. But I'm not gonna post that PnL here b/c I trade it at all hours so its tough to get an EOD PnL

Far too much trading today, fought back to finish positive....its nice that I've fought back to finish flat-to-positive a lot frequently, but after looking at my numbers, I've been seriously overtrading and wasting money in throwaway trades. Cut out those throwaway trades and maybe less fighting back to finish positive. Too many shares traded +$726.05
Gotta leave early today as I've got some errands to run before I head to work. Decent day today. I'm long some SPY calls to take advantage of this move, and with any luck, the afternoon rally
