Nice day. 50k on a 70k account sounds just like pure gambling to me, I'm guessing it's not your money or you've not really worked for it. 0317: +$2073
NinjaTrader can be set to show any costs you want or just raw results... in real-time and sim if I'm not mistaken. My blotters here showed raw math... cents per contract gross before costs. I'll add a trade blotter every day that any two of the posters in referred thread find courage of conviction to do the same. They lead, I follow... is that fair enough?
There was a time that this thread here was the cornerstone of ET. Somehow or other that withered away, for whatever reason(s). It seems to me that with all the posters here who invest so much time, effort and energy into making market calls all day & night and/or bickering about who is real or not, a lot of vocal posters really care about this site. So why not take that one simple, easy step and post a snapshot of your blotter at the end of each day? Considering how many posters here are so concerned about others, why not take the lead and show them what's possible in today's financial markets? I don't believe in being part of the problem... I'd rather be part of a solution. So regardless who else steps up, steps in and contributes here or hides behind their skirt is irrelevant. I'll be here regardless. And a sincere & hearty congrats to those who have posted here recently and/or regularly. You are the cornerstone of this site * Only traded CL this morning before the rollover pop & chop set in. April or May, both contracts split volume down the middle with 2-cent, 3-cent and sometimes 4-cent bid/ask spreads. Not my preferred playground conditions. Monday as first-day of new contract has historical bias to make large-range and usually straight trend moves. Considering the current market conditions, remains to be seen how this one plays out. Heads up on that tendency, anyway. see you Monday
One of those chopwards lower CL sessions, starting from a 100-cent gap up from Friday's close on the May contract. Was on the right side of either direction enough times to get it done in swing fashion. Faster mode account booked significantly more cents, but with signifcantly more turns rounded.
