Well done Brian. This day will stay with you the longest throughout your career. It is a good resource to draw on through difficult times.

It can be done, and you did it! You should be very pleased.

Now back to work young grasshopper :)

  6. -2000/-2.1%, down about 7% for the week. My worst week $ and % wise since 2008. Still up 20% YTD.

Having lost a fortune yesterday, I wasn't expecting very much today. However, it turned out better than expected. Most of the coins came from ES. Even though I hardly traded CL today, it moved exactly the way I anticipated. I wish I did trade the damn thing after all.

    Have a nice weekend y'all.

V similar result to Fri.... +24,500 eur net approx or +$31,500

This is my best 2 day return ever by some margin. I'm under no illusion that these returns are coming my way thanks to the mkt conditions. This year had been super slow until last week. Hoping it continues but suspect I'll be back to scratching around soon....

Kudos to all you guys and gals banging out the consistent results

  10. +3674/+3.98%. A disadvantage of longer term holding periods (days to weeks) was clearly demonstrated in my dismal results last week, and a clear advantage today in recovering over 1/2 of last weeks losses before the open. I took this opportunity to reduce my longer term exposure. Looking forward to exploiting this volatility in my shorter term trades.
