1 trade. +$1461.20 Accidentally reversed part of the position when closing, so extra fills and costs. Taking it easy this week - last week didn't go so well.
+$320 I was planning no live trades today, strictly spent the morning sim trading and analyzing price action on CL from pre-market through the opening hour (I'm looking to trade CL and ES exclusively in the near future). Then I saw DNDN hitting the hi ticker like crazy. By the time I looked at the chart, a big move was done. My first inclination was to short it, but I now wait for a lower high before counter-trending. So I watched price consolidate in a range and suddenly the price action reminded me of Al Brooksâ description of âtrapped tradersâ. There were shorts on the way up, shorts sucked in by the pullback from the last high, and shorts sucked in on the failed breakout. I wanted to take advantage of SHORT FUEL and be long if price broke out once more without breaking the downside of the range. Long @ 34.35, out @ 35.00, worked like a charm. XXXOOO, Al! OK back to the simbucks...
EUR +120 Balanced the whole day between slightly negative and slightly positive. I'm happy with the end result. Phill
