Trader P/L 2010

  1. I've decided I am not going to bother posting any more, unless it is more than 10K$, either way (after today).

  2. This thread is dying after being one of the most popular for a decade. Therefore, i'm shorting this thread as of 11/8. One post by a big trader will more than likely squeeze me out.

  3. It coincides with the death of scalping

I actually thought that I had fallen off the distribution list for the thread.

Closed my final ones out for +0.250 total. Don't want to be greedy. Working on adding a few position trades to my plan, so pleased with how I managed this.

I am bullish on this instrument, and no doubt I may regret in hindsight taking profits here. However I have managed it according to what I understand so far. The transition to position trading will not come smoothly if I don't take profits at reasonable targets. Doubles, not home runs. Given that I was able to enter this with a 0.010 stop I'm happy enough with the result.

  7. +705 on 3 trades today. Not bad for low volume on the holiday

  8. There are a few traders still lurking and making money. Trading just sucks for most. One day the herd will be culled for the next round of volatility, but no one knows when. Hopefully its 2011 because we are all dead in 2012 anyways!! :D

  10. I think it was already correctly noted that scalping is dead. Strategies have to shift to adapt to this market. I am taking less positions and riding them longer.

Vol will come back, always does.
