blew up my account. in deference to those who actually know what they're doing, i will no longer refer to myself as a trader. edit: to stop the PM's- it's the bottom # that is total in USD. interesting study in human nature how much more interesting failure is than success... -82m
Congrats OTC, Rocketeer, 1Reason, and all the others that had good days!! Just fantastic day today for me too. This is getting eerie though.... I might have to convert this cash to shotguns and cans of food if this get s much worse!! +57k!!
Jesus Gang, I hope you mean you just had a really bad day, and didn't really blow out. You've been posting some great numbers. Either way, I guess I need to quit bitching about only making a little money. Puts things in perspective.
well, my day wasn't supersonic like some of you guys but it's not bad. +$3240 on 26k shares. Just picking out the best trades when I can find 'em. Moriartron - amazing day. I echo your thoughts on this looking a bit scary. I do find myself wondering what sort of market we'll be left with when the dust settles..... Congrats to all those who had good days (otc - wow!)
Had a trade broken that is showing as a loss in my blotter. The actual total is 16.5k higher. This is the nuttiest shit ever. So much panic out there.
took a huge blow at the open... recovered most of it, then a mistake cost me a few grand. net -2200 ish
<HR COLOR="#0000FF" SIZE="4"> Major props to the guys that knocked it out of the park today. It's easy to see how the numbers can grow if you just alter the size being traded. Very motivating to see that! <HR COLOR="#0000FF" SIZE="4">
Hi Traders!!! Amazing Day!!!! Congrats all the Traders for this very good day. Fantastic day for me too. I would like to share my BEST DAY EVER !!!! Thank you very much Best regards
<i>"This is getting eerie though.... I might have to convert this cash to shotguns and cans of food if this gets much worse!!"</i> I've got plenty of firepower and stored foods here for all of us... bring the cash and c'mon over (laugh). Yesterday I shorted and shorted and shorted until 3:30pm est, stopped out on final trade at par just before the last-minute dive. Had I done the same thing today, would have easily been 50k minimum. Tomorrow should be monumental, and we'll all press the pedal bell to bell
Even the most successful traders have had disaster days. Its so easy to get into the vicious cycle of taking a loss, getting frustrated, making revenge trades, taking even more losses, etc. The key will be what you learn from this and how you adjust your trading going forward.
