<i>"Ya, I get that all the time, used to it. Glad you made 55 bucks though Anek"</i> Easiest cure for that misconception in the world. Merely take another snapshot and widen to include time & sales execution of a few trades taken. No worries about disclosure of info, etc. Impossible for anyone to reverse-engineer an approach based off couple of trades shown. Can eliminate those questions forever in two minutes or less. With all due & utmost respect... the snippet you posted could be real or sim. No way to tell from this end, which pretty much renders the whole effort moot.
- 354 Long story short, I got hit on AMR and I've been too slow to cut the loss. The prop firm I work with said my daily stop limit has been hit, so I can't trade anymore today.
Should this detailed posting apply to me or everyone else because I certainly don't see it on this thread. BTW, the challenge I posted to you in the ES journal is still open, never received a reply. Anek
While this is not the thread for discussion I wanted to add I have never had 1 day much less 2 day's pl equally divisible by es $12.50 min tick unless it is on a sim with no commissions. Anek's last 2 p/l postings.... 8/18- $37,750/12.50=3020.00 9/8- $118,825.00/12.50=9506.00
TS won't adjust comm into the PL until the late hours, it's the way they work, but good job Sherlock. Anek
I don't know anek, other than the fact he is well respected, and his numbers may be complete rubbish, but they are not unrealistic. The total today translates to 755 ES points before comms. If he trades 100 lots, then thats "only" 7.5 pts per lot. We've all had days as good as that. It's the size that makes the numbers huge. I personally know traders who make these kinds of figures in a single day (tho not every day). What would be interesting tho is if Anek would post every day for a while - give us a chance to see the range of his results, not just the very best days.
