RedInk, Also sorry to see you are calling it quits posting, but thanks for the posts you've made as well as other contributions!
First day of "July" following the holiday break. Where did those wild swings and volatility go? So much for quiet ahead of = wild past the long weekend. This time it was reversed. I'll be working one account with size targeting +4pts or better ES and done. The account profiled here will trade ES and/or ER as price action dictates. It is a sideline venture serving several purposes... one of which being educational = entertainment here. Starting balance as of this morning was $3,300+ and we padded that a tad mostly with ER. If ES had gone anywhere at all, would have been roughly +50% more. Done for the day, have some errands & tasks to handle that are much more fun than sitting in front of screens. After all, we trade for the time freedom our profession provides and not the recreational aspect(s). Right? Back to work in earnest tomorrow. (PS: thank you for the years' of entertaining & enlightening posts here, Red Ink. Your input will be sorely missed. Best Trading Wishes)
+237 for the day and have some cash but not willing to jump... markets seems to very choppy right now... might get in after 3.00 PM
4800 shares/11 trades /14 cancels......I left a boatload on the table today....had 2400 QID at 44.75....peace
(continued)... So my honeybees got a clean bill of health from the state inspector while someone said something about inflation. Markets enjoyed quite the nooner there... minutes after stopping me out of shorts at par for the umpteenth time this morning. Looked a bit overcooked on the charts past 1pm est. Played give & take for an hour, caught another +5pt ER ride and exited early. Looks poised to hit 665ish before the close, but I'll scoop my pennies while offered and run. DSL is very spotty here today... it's much more fun trading off streaming charts than staccato ones. Reminds me of the early years back in 1999 when I traded OEX options off Lycos free, stripped-down version of Qcharts. Guess we're all pretty spoiled now. Definitely done for the day now
