- $45 it takes special skills to take long positions between 2:30 - 4....which i did, i just couldn't adapt to the volatility. very messy, did so many things wrong.
I don't have a screenshot and I don't remember how many shares I traded but I lost $591 net and left around noon after one trade cost me $160 and put me $90 over my maximum loss. I was totally off today... my biggest winner was a trade where I took a shot because I was pissed off and it happened to run a point. Almost all losers and mediocre winners otherwise. While I'm damn pissed I lost almost $600, I'm happy that I did not lose $1000 or more. I hope the discipline I exercised today keeps me in the game in the future.
Traded my plan from the start, but got burned a few times with some VERY BAD slippage on my stops. Never seen anything like it. Then I went "on tilt" and blew up. Single worst day so far. I shouldn't have gone back to trading big shares, but yesterday I had the Midas touch and thought I had it all figured out. HAHAHA. The market corrected me. Bottom line: -1k (yep, that's not a typo) Thank goodness for the $25k rule. Back to 100-200 shares tomorrow.
taking the day off as I just broke my discipline and got lucky, could have blown my day in one trade... for those who care or are counting my paper (hah) yesterday was -461 gross -594.9 net on 41200 shares. Edit: I took another trade (stop? who was I kidding) and made $63 on 200 shares (so 400 more shares to my volume). +912 no new screenshot
