Best day for me in recent memory. And that's after taking a brief break late morning until things "settled" down a bit.

So heres my story of today. was long a measly 200 BSC when violaaaa my SSL connection went down! tried to call trade desk to sell...number busy. I actually laughed pretty hard watching it plummet on Esignal. But i guess that comes with the territory so no excuses. helluva week for me. i think ill check my balls at the door next week and start trading smaller. my weekly net numbers...this puts me down $800 on the month. Ill post my monthly blotter as usual next week or so. ($4,174) $3,063 $625 $2,400 ($4,800) 4,000 was BSC Have a great weekend everyone and rest up for next week!
Here's my sad story: Was up 200 bucks at 10a. Sometime thereafter my orders stopped getting executed! Limits, markets, didn't matter. Desperately tried to get into AMGN, but the order stayed on IB TWS's pending page! What? Pending? WTF? A market order pending on a highly liquid stock?! AMGN immediately jumps up a dollar per share. Foaming at the mouth, I call Interactive Brokers and calmly ask them why my orders aren't being executed. They played hockey with me for awhile, transfering me back and forth, then a rep says even though they see the records of my intended orders, he had no idea why they weren't being filled. Even after closing and opening TWS and eSignal...same thing...didn't matter which stock or which type of order. Then, it mysteriously starting working again. All the while, eSignal was crawling again. Charts taking several minutes to load. It was fixed for the longest time since they've switched me over to the new tick servers (the ones without the historical bid/ask info). But today it started all over again. By now I'm on tilt. I should have closed it down until Monday. But I go off angrily trading BSC. Bad idea. I went from +200 to -500. I walked away and calmed down. I came back and cut my losses in half, but I'm still pissed. I should be up ~700, but instead I'm -250. What a day. Have a great weekend. See you Monday.
