Congrats again on your 2007 performance. You and Dustin have been a inspiration for many of us here on ET. Good luck to you both for an even better year in 2008!
Definately will be following this thread for the year and want to thank those guys that take the time out to keep the thread interesting and to help keep the rest of us honest. All the best in 08 guys.
Congrats Szeven. This is as close to the ET hall of fame as it gets. Hope to start posting again soon All the best for 2008
Reality in the trenches: main trading computer is sketchy today. Had a monitor die on the second system. Charts kept freezing up in the first computer. I wrenched my back this morning while watering Holly's horses and goats. I'm suffering from a head cold that migrated to my "stomach" after lunch. Was short ES 1181.50 premarket and 1179.00 at the 10am turn. Should have just crawled back on the couch and let that run until now. Instead I covered way too soon and missed most of the early downside to follow. Hindsight is such a beautiful thing. These are the distractions we deal with in real-time when trading real money. Life doesn't care about first session of the new year, FOMC minutes, wide ranging swings, etc. Traded 6-lots ES and 1-lot ER a few times each. No records set, but we'll pay some bills.
crappy start for the year... placed myself in a -$500 hole in the morning was only able to get back half .... ended the day -$245 ... oh well theres still a tommorrow
