I kept adding into positions right at tops and bottoms. Suprised to be green at the end of the day. Up +ve and -ve 500 3 times today. Can't get a sense of where things want to go.

    Net 398

    The comeback is on (laughs)....

Still down 1300 on the month...tiring.

One good trade saved the day. I wasn't on my A game, had a lot of unnecessary donations and missed some great opportunities; I should have killed it today.

  9. Abbreviated trading week... bass fishing early in the morning on Friday, nine holes of golf in the afternoon. There's more to life than trading & making money... that's why we made this game our profession in the first place. Never forget that fact :>)

Decent four days' price action this week... nothing special. Normal span of low volatility & chop mixed with wide ranges and volatile swings, both directions across the spectrum. Little bit of everything.

Missed = passed up more $$ than we made, as usual. Averaging +2.5pts ER per contract daily is a no-brainer: any serious emini trader can learn to accomplish that. Recent adjustments toward averaging +5pts ER daily have been right on pace all month.

ES is likewise back to normal ranges, trading well itself. If the pending changes brewing for ER contracts upset that apple cart, we have zero qualms about shifting back to ES for keeps without pause.

June, July and the first two weeks of August are usually good trading conditions. Looks to continue that behavior in 2007, too.

    Have a great weekend
