The answer is yes as long as you choose margin account when you fill your IRA application. You can day trade your IRA account as long as your IRA account equity is more than 25k. In addition, you can trade options and futures in this account even its equity is less than $25,000. However, you cannot borrow money in your margin IRA account. As far as I know, IB is the only broker who allow you to day trade your IRA account.

lol....well i would love to blame the new strategy on this amazing day.....but i cant.....either im cursed or god just decided he wanted to laugh at me all day.....and i mean all day...lol...i have never seen so many stocks move violently in the oposite direction of me so many times in one day! ah what can you do.......23 stocks traded....15 negative!
