Yes, given how you've clearly laid it out--I'd agree mschey.

Without a bit of synopsis about the trades, not much can be gleaned from a blotter. Yet, the profitable guys will be hounded on the thread and it'll become their own journal of on going questions, and not a P/L thread.

This is a bit of a structure problem for eiltetrader. If we give a more detailed run-down of the trades, fine, but it'll become question/answer session--especially as mksummney acknowledged. We can't keep answering the same question 10x in a row.

There needs to be a bold header tag in every single post on this thread, saying "ALL QUESTIONS ABOUT SPECIFIC TRADING STYLE, OR OTHERWISE MUST BE PM'D. THIS IS A BLOTTER/SYNOPSIS THREAD ONLY"

A bit of information about what you did is always good. It comes down to controlling the chaos that ensues after sharing a bit.

I find the thread VERY motivational.

  2. I find quite a bit can be gleaned from most blotters. Such as shares traded, # of trades, fees incurred, stocks traded. With information like that posted you can at least get a bit of an idea how people are going about making their money.

    P.S. Everyone post your blotter.

  3. WOW - again the naysayers creep into this thread with pages of drivel. The naysayers are quick to judge and never post their own progress just doubt everyone elses.

You say there is no value to posting, I have found a great deal of value, motivation, learning, humbleness it all comes from seeing other traders profits and losses no matter how big or small.

The traders that trade very small size show me that if I am not careful I could end up back there in a heartbeat if I dont control, my risk reward, cut losses etc

The traders that trade big size show me that I can aspire to trade such lots with confidence and clarity etc

Dont be so quick to judge, if you guys are real traders who want to learn and become better try reading between the lines a little you will be surprised at what you find.

  5. Had all of my money by 10:30am, obviously disappointed in the rest of the day. Hopefully I'm not doing something stupid like inspiring other traders! :p

  9. This would be a lot easier if I wasn't retarded. Why do I bother trading crap on scAMEX? Would have been green without their thievery.

Had to adjust & re-up a few spread trades, as they kept getting wider with the market drop. Once I did, came out ok. Other accounts did really well today (all short).
Still couldn't hold on to the top, was up 14.5k, came away with 9300 across all accounts MTM. Main account shown is MTM +4200.

    Have a good weekend everyone!
