Proud to say I've never made a DUMB keystroke error and lost money. Took a pounding by Rambus (RMBS): -($1,350) Took a gain for the rest of the day: Net: $1,258 Trades: 20 Shorted CCU from the top, it didn't have a hell beans chance of breaking it's high with all that selling.
Leaving for the vegas expo in a few minutes. Very light trading day, up about $2500 and holding some positions, we'll see where it finishes. Hope to see some of you there.
ES 50 contracts, one turn short, -1.0pt = -$2,500 Expiry Friday, usually great or terrible to trade. Expiry Friday 11/2005 was terrific morning action... not today. To think, I used to revolve my life schedule around trading SPX inside option expiry week from 1999 thru 2002. Times sure do change. ER one turn, short 790.00 = trailed out 788.00 after 787.00 printed. Each short trade was entered at the exact-same time... ER covered viable distance from there, ES did not. * Same story in comatose market conditions: ER covered $430 per contract value, ES covered $200 per contract value total inside first hour of pit session. ER is relatively easy to trade, ES needs normal range coverage on the chart to be viable. Done for the day... have a great weekend!
How is 100 shares.....for a whopping $150.... Trade went through at 10:01........im not a gambler but its always good for a laugh. What I do know is that the bankers for the IPO should be dragged into the street and shot.
