First time I post after watching the thread for month. Most of you are impressive traders proving it can be done. It gives me hope not to give up. Thank you all ! Thinks are getting better and better... See you tomorrow
+595 3040 shares The same problem of premature exit. Perfect short selling on WTI twice, but terrible exit and got only a tiny portion of the gain on WTI. Anyway, today is a great trading day.
hey everyone....made some good money on intel today.....have been taking about $2000 out of it a day and would have again today but held a loser this morning for -700 so had to dig myself out of that hole.... usually start trading 2200 shares then ramp up to 12000 at certain levels where i feel confident....
Could have had a decent day. I battled psychological factors. I lost yesterday, so I was afraid to lose, today. I was down early, but made a comeback around 8am PST. As soon as I got positive, I put my stop on a winning position super tight. I was stopped out with a barely positive day. I then quit and avoided what I can tell would have been more profitable trades. Gotta just trade and not get numbers stuck in my head. Also, that was some lame chop in the indices, again. I hope it's not like this everyday until the FOMC.
Today sucked. -4940 on 96,000 shares. Most of the damage from MDT, had two positions in it in two accounts and got spanked extra hard twice! Not one, but two retarded trades in HIG didn't help either.
Great day today, actually traded all of the day today, now there is a novelty. Real solid number today, nice move on NVAX, almost stupid to watch, was long at 4.01 for about three hours got out at 4.04, then watched it rip to 4.30 in almost one candle. Still made a couple hundred in the madness though. Very happy with todays number.
I did the same thing as yesterday. I was down about 175 in the early morning. I made a comeback to break even and then quit because I was happy to be barely positive. I didn't want to go negative again, so I didn't trade anymore. I then watched some would be winning trades leave without me the rest of the day. What a wuss I am.
