yup, that's it. put your 100,000 share bid in pre-open at .60, get filled at .59, and bang out on the ECN at .60 immediately for $1,000 profit. or, bid 50k @ .60, and 50k at .59 just incase there wasn't enough depth for a .60 breakeven. i didn't trade it last week 'cuz i didn't know how the merger was gonna affect the stock in the waning days. turns out it didn't do anything. that would have been an easy open.
I don' t know anyone advertising rates like that. But if you are banging out 1-5 million shares per day, you can certainly negotiate with some leverage. There's a good chance it'll involve a profit split though because the firm would make little to nothing off your trading. So you need a track record too.
