  2. Thanks DT for posting your TI settup. I've been using TI for about 2 months, mainly focusing on pre market movers and three day breakouts. I actually adjusted your settup to 75% range as I am willing to look at consolidations in that range. As far are your 40 settup, doesn't that throw off a ton of alerts? Would u be so kind as to repost it. Also, I see that realitytrader is giving a seminar on friday at 1pm as to how they integrate TI into their trading program

  3. The set up for 40+ does give a good amount of alerts but if you think about it, a stock that has already hit 40 highs or lows has some momentum behind it. The idea came to me from watching GOOG, SHLD, TZOO, and RIMM on a regular high low ticker. I would watch these and notice that sometimes GOOG had like 200-300 new highs for the day. It made me think what if I caught it at like the 40th so that is how I set up my TI. Here is the link.

This approach can only make sense to you if you ever looked at software that counts things like number of new highs or lows for any issue. To me this is a really good strategy that can't be exploited by too many people cause there just isn't that much software out there that gives you this type of information.

Although many people here joke about it I don't work for TI so not sure about the reality trader stuff.

Finished the day just over a G :) damn ERTS.

  8. Still chugging along trying to make the turn from losing/break even to profitable. Traded the gap up on RIMM this morning. Tried to fade the gap because it was up on no news and got stoped out.
