I'm relatively new to ET and this is by far my favourite thread, I check it religiously. I'll start posting my blotter as soon as I can get some screen caps going.

    regards,

  7. if it wasn't for the Q's, i'd be underwater. CENX had been good to me for a while now, but my luck with that piece o' garbage stock finally ran out.

  9. the last 1.5 month, i have implemented a very simple strategy for trading the EUR and JPY. i average 3-8 trades a day in the EUR and 1-3 trades in the JPY.

i trade equities daily for my living, but since reg sho my income was cut by 2/3rds - hence i started a simple swing trading method, and a simple currency strategy.

my equities trading in the morning is Opening Orders, whereby i trade OOs with Lescor (Corey) as we traded together at ECHO's office in Phoenix in 2000 and have remained somewhat of a trading team every since. we talk everyday, as we have found it incredibly beneficial to bounce ideas of each other, and to talk about life in general.

Lescor (Corey) taught me OOs a few years back, as he is the master in OOs. i think i have only beaten him 1 month in nearly 3 years in OOs. our daily numbers in OOs demonstrates a profitable strategy.

mid-day trading i have another strategy, that i will not expand on but it is very consistent each day whereby since reg sho i am doing $500-$1500 after commish daily.

i though i would post my EUR and JPY blotters, as after 118 trades in the EUR and 8 trades in the JPY, i have a 71% win rate. what is key for me, with this trading is that it does not take lots of energy, thinking nor concentration, so i can execute while not taking away from my mid-day trading.

i am only trading 1 lots, at the moment but will look to move up to 2 contracts soon. i am posting, as to keep myself honest with myself and my results for this strategy.

it would be cool, if anyothers that trade currencies, post their blotters.

    should be interesting,

+ 300 in EUR/JPY today. i will post the IB blotter next time.
