I couldnt find the trade you're looking at.. What's the Exp and Strikes?? It's obviously short dated...
Just pick an equivalent trade. I'm assuming he bought atm or a little ITM the week of July 14th...but play around with it.
What was his account size 10M? (it was showing net liq of 10.79M for this trade) $177,000 P/L on a trade is a 1.7% ROE Risk:reward of 1.5:1 on the trade 800 contracts @ 3.40. If we scale down then to a 10k account: /1000 .8 contracts @ 3.40 = 272 (80* 2.2=$176 P/L) So with a 10k account the trade would return a profit of $176, with a RW of 1.5:1 His numbers are attained by sheer numbers.
My understanding is that he restarted the account a few times after taking most of the profits out. The latest account started with 350K.
Still another guy: "I went from $3k to $60k on SQ calls (already posted) and then full ported into 75x DELL 90c 4/19. Sold this morning." ------------------------------------------------- https://www.cnbc.com/2024/03/01/reddit-seeking-a-valuation-of-up-to-6point5-billion-in-ipo.html Reddit seeking a valuation of up to $6.5 billion in IPO
