nice jacket, but wrong event more like this, where we called the top of the bull based on the parties http://marketsurfer.blogspot.com/2007/05/bull-market-decadence-in-manhattan.html
i disagree. people love the tactile factor in magazines, they are not going away untill this can be duplicated digitally. high tech and high touch is the future. surf
From what little I know on the subject, sounds like HCIT could be the next major hi-tech boom. And imagine the possibilities if the porn industry can get a hold of it
I wasn't referring to the parties. And I should have expressed my thought more clearly. The 'macho' comment was meant more as for a strong mature male audience not to be confused with infantile male chauvinism.
I have never seen the magazine. However, from what I understand, it was high-gloss and focused considerably on uber-materialism. That's all well and good, but the fact that they had to give the magazine away for free despite its supposedly high-end readership and $10 sticker price was certainly an early warning sign, don't you think? And evidently, the advertisers weren't moving their wares despite all the pomp and circumstance. What was the magazine's slogan? For poseurs, by poseurs?
