Hi I've been a senior market maker with a decent prop shop for a long time and but I am looking to move ship. I've little experience with contracts so wondered if anyone could advise of their experience at top prop firms ( but not really at arcades)? How long are fixed percentage bonuses delayed (if at all) eg 0 months, 3 months, 6 months etc? How long are restrictive covenants for going to a competitor? How negotiable are they? I've heard places where bonuses annual but paid 6 months in arrears and you lose it if you leave, plus then 6 months held out the market. So you'd be without pay for a year if you evere left!? (other than a basic salary for 6 months). Sounds harsh to me?!
