I've heard from some friends griping that TradePipe (Lehmans front end for futures trading) is going away. I never used TradePipe...what was so good about it anyway?
I think the frontend basically consisted of their own curves, and internal b/a on the contracts. Just a way for them to squeeze a bit more from the volume.
was it competitive? did it have a spreading application? automated trading capabilities? I was sniffing around for a thin client a few years ago to push out to some of my remote trading rooms. was it a thin app easily deployed and / or was the software installed directly on your pc? how was the price feed?
