I'm currently using Tradestation. It works well but has some limitations. The primary are: no time and sales historical data stream and without Rina (which can't be purchased and is not yet available) it is difficult to do pairs/spread/portoflio trading. I'm a .NET programmer and would like for you to tell me how great tradelink is.. what's special about it.. etc It takes a lot of time/energy to invest in a trading application, even free. So, I'd like to get a good sales pitch to convince me it is worth my time to invest in it. I'm primarily interested in pulling data from IQFEED and backtesting. Does it support an optimizer? Walk forward? Reports? Can I use it to generate email alerts or send to a program? i.e without a broker
