  1. going over data to see at what point dollar wise i should be exiting automatically versus exiting just to see that exit at a loss become a winner right after i exit. its a tuff decusion.

  2. i am noticing things though on my losers and why they are getting so large so fast in the past few days. obviously im 90% long only so i do get beat up on almost straight down days but there is a lot more to it than that alone.

Not sure if i should post this here since you might feel offended or something like that, but here i go anyway.

So, first of all, no disrespect, just my 2 cents.

I feel like you should slow down. You are posting here like crazy, ranting on and on and sometimes making a lot of different posts in just a matter of minutes. It feels very disorganized and even crazy at times. I cannot help but think your trading might be done in the same style.

What might help you is to take some more time before you make a post here, think it over, make sure you post everything you want to post in 1 single post, not five in a row. Calm and collected. Make sure your posts are easy to read and clear for everyone to understand. It will help your readers but it wil also help yourself i you want to go back over some stuff you posted here to review your thought process afterwards.

Do the same thing when trading before you enter a position.

You clearly know how to trade, to me it just feels like you are rushing like crazy and you just need to slow yourself down, think things trough before you actually do it and you will get there.

The same with your size, you lost a large amount of your account by trading way to much size, yet now you are trading 3 contracts again with just over $1000. Slow and steady wins the race, over leveraging is a guarantee for a disaster.

    I agree but slightly disagree.
Everyone has different personality types, some have huge energy, others not so much.
The huge energy people think and behave differently, they are forever moving, rarely slow down.
Some achieve by huge amounts of action, others achieve by strategy and defensive positions.
Some attack, others defend to achieve similar outcomes.

  8. ranting on and on means you dont see the value in what i post it is nt a rant dipshit it is truth.

I would consider you to be ranting since i dont see you adding much. tell ya what.

after i double my SAC in full biew just like i said i wotn be rantin ghere much longer and
i wont be sharing anythingn that might actually help anyone.

    Good job FTDK mission accompished!

There is a very high correlation of profitable traders to the amount of posts on elite trader i am sure that is truth as well as truth behind someone calling me and my posts out as RANTS.lol.

most likely you have more than 1 or 2 online fake personas where me..
i just keep doing what i do

no one on this site has clue what i am really doing outside of my sac and why in the fuck do i even care about the sac all that much. do you really think it is my pride and joy. nope it is about 1 % of what i do everyday and on top of that if i have my own ways of dealing with my own stress and if it is writing on elite trader then dont read what i post if it bother you so much.

is there a way to block you if so let me know or even better put me on ignore. i don't give a shit. its your loss not mine.

leave it to an open foreum where all of a sudden peopel have suggestions and judge you from your posts that arent bullshit or selling something. yeah that is really smart to punch a gift horse in the mouth!

What I am doing, and works for me, is to keep a 20 day moving average of green days profits, and use that as a cutoff max loss for the day. So I know if I hit the max loss, then the next day I have a good chance to make it back. Of course, if you have more algorithmic entries, then it is not a good idea to stop the system (unless performing outside of predetermined parameters).

Most (if not all) propshops have these type of risk control (daily , weekly max loss) for traders to limit tilt or other bad streaks.
