A few weeks ago, a friend of mine forwarded a free video from "Trade The Markets" with John Carter and some other fellow.

He asked me to sign up for the free videos and give him my feedback.

    Okay....

I get this video a few days ago with the heading "Get all of our indicators for free".

    Sounds good, so far.

I click on the video and here's the pitch:

Pay $2500 for a seminar and you get all of their indicators for free.

IF you already have the indicators, then the seminar is around $1500.

It may be a real stretch here, but I'm thinking my math comes up with all indicators are NOT free. All indicators are $1,000.

btw: I see from the TS forums that many of their indicators are available for free on the forum and that some of "their" indicators are not "their" indicators, but someone else's.

    Am I missing something here?

Or you can get their seminar for free if you paid $2,500 for their indicators. Tradestation forum indicators are free but you don't get their free seminar. :)

Ever wonder how to get the free toys from the cereal boxes?

    lol...yea that's pretty good.

i just thought it was funny how a company that is smart enough to market free trading videos, etc has such a low opinion of the intelligence of the people they are trying to market to.

otoh, maybe they know their target better than me. :)

If their indicators make money, why sell them? why not live off them?

  5. Perhaps these are indicators that only make money when you sell them.
