Thanks, it seems like it is the same problem. ie: some servers are down and I can't force my connection to a specific server.
What's wrong with these guys ? If they would fix their data reliability, they would be on top of the retail autotrading world. Instead, it looks like Ninja is going to unseat them very shortly.
Yeah, this TS data (un)reliability crap is getting old quick. Seems like we can count on data server problems at least once/week.
Really true... I am with TS for a long time now, and data quality is the only real problem that would need to be resolved, instead of creating new crappy indicators, templates, features...
Comments like this indicate only one thing: INCONSISTENT DATA SERVERS. This very same problem existed with the old Lycos Quote.com service. We were constantly fighting to find a reliable server. Finally, some sharp programmer built a piece of software to allow for automatic switching to a faster server if an existing server was slow to respond. Interestingly, the company never bought it, and then they were sold (to ESignal...go figure !). The rest is history. Therefore, based on the above pattern, one can only ask the obvious: Who is going to buy Tradestation Technologies ?
