well, i have to disagree...made similar mistake on a vlo trade and bot a boatload of shares....didnt know i added a couple of zeros, ror. if u wanted to take the trade anyways whats the prob; tighten your stop and take a chance it's not like u gonna go broke...my trade paid off as well by the way.
Best trade of the day, and a smooth one for the first time since i started this thread, was BSC over 50dma. Bot it at 137, sold it at 138 (1.8 points early of course :-(
This was a perfect day to get played -- didn't do a thing and that I think was my best trade of the day.
best trade of the day was going long 55,000 the, then getting hit on a fake bid and getting topped back up to another 55,000 and punching out for a 25 tick loser this was definitely my finest today =)
worst trade....didnt want the damn short shares in the first place then couldnt get out of them till i was 30 ticks or so offside.... -500 and change
best trade.....like the pansy i am.....got out right before the stock jumped another 60 cents....left 6-8k on the table with that one... +1600 and change
me thinks, contrary to what the majority says, that swift is a great place for traders, noobs and experience alike and infact it is all reflected in their blotters.
I was pretty damn happy with this trade today. Would have liked it better if the specialist hadnt filled my one order of 5k by giving me 200 at the .30's and 4800 at the 44's cause that would have been an extra sweet $500-700 for me! and for those that asked about my other trade of the days...yes i consider this one trade. I like to take big positions either long or short and then get out of that huge position and the only way to do that is in little increments....so even though the blotter shows 50 some trades (i can even fit all the trades in one pic)....its only 1 to me. turned out to be about +1800
