Just exploiting our advantage which is speed development. We want to get these integrations done so we can focus on more alerts, specifically longer term patterns and more traditional technical signals like MACD buy, sell etc. But you can not really have a killer alerts app unless it is integrated with the execution.
Great to hear! The embedded broker part of the eSignal integration turned out really well. We tested it with MB Trading and were very pleased. Also we were pleasantly surprised by how fast the integration updates between us and eSignal take place. Thanks again, Dan
Hi Jeffrey, Yes, Real Tick is on our list. We have their toolkit. We are evaluating Hammer and seeing if the integration is possible, if it is, Hammer will be next. If not then Real-Tick will be the next one to market. Thanks, Dan
We had some questions about the set up process for linking our alerts to eSignal. We made a very detailed example on the site. This is the one time set up that needs to be done in the morning. Please follow the pictures on this thread. This link is also on page 10 of this thread. http://www.trade-ideas.com/ESignalIntegration.html Thanks, Dan
1. For your channel breakouts/breakdowns, be able to have a channel size. For example, show breakouts/downs only when the channel is between 5 cents wide and 10 cents wide. 2. For alerts that are 1-10 type alerts, in the alert message, put the level of alert it is. For example if I configured to show all alerts over level 4, it would show me those alerts and the level number each alert was at when it was triggered (ie 4, 5, 6, etc.) 10 Here's a tip for for those using the shortcuts, if you change the configuration, be sure to re-save your shortcut! Cash, Thanks for your suggestions. We really appreaciate you taking the software through the ringer like that. We are working on some improvements that will be out soon. Your second suggestion will probably be implemented first. We had considered making an auto save feature that will store your last few settings so that you can access them on demand. We will give you a heads up when it comes out. Thanks again, Dan
Whever we add something new to the site, the What's New turns bold. We http://www.trade-ideas.com/WhatsNew.html?date=1049100869 Then we usually send out an email to users. Best, Dan
