Vietnam especially has been seeing explosive growth at China’s expense. Mexico, India, Indonesia - there are many Countries vying to take manufacturing share away from China. Hong Kong has been a freaking nightmare for the Mainland. No doubt many titans of that old and famous bastion of free enterprise are now looking to get away from Xi’s stranglehold.
Expecting Vietnam or any other country to absorb the capacity of Chinese manufacturing is like moving all the tech companies to Mexico and expect them continue to prosper. There has been more than 30 years of built up of skill sets, human capital, infrastructures, etc that cannot be duplicated that fast. With the share size of China, there is one comparable country, India; but anyone who has been to both India and China will make a logical conclusion in two seconds.
true about the scale.... probably a matter of erosion than a complete replace. India is about 20 years behind, manufacturing wise..... on the IT/service side it's fairly close..
Well, if I recall, the 8088 was the first Intel chip in the original IBM PC. So maybe they are Intel fans from a bygone era, and dropped the 0 because it is null space?
You can tell these are Chinese IDs as 8 sounds the same as big fortune. It’s like the lucky 7 type of thing.
It's considered lucky in China; chances are they're either from China or still there. I think it's actually based on word play in Cantonese, so maybe Hong Kong?
All this is a play. I am sitting and I am a spectator. I operate in demo to have fun. Experiments must be done with soda. Every day I laugh more. I don't care if they agree or disagree. Now it's me who laughed.
