Toyota Acclerates: DoT Finds Driver Faults in Reported Accidents

    "the U.S. Department of Transportation, after analyzing dozens of data recorders from Toyota vehicles, has found evidence some drivers were mistakenly flooring the accelerator when their cars spun out of control.

    The authors cite anonymous “people familiar” with the findings.

    That contradicts reports that the brakes were depressed but failed to stop the cars, the authors write."


    Interesting.....

    Moved the stock quite a bit. Wonder how many of the total cases reported this type of data (was operator error instead of car malfunction.)
