risk, you don't have to worry about all that stuff if you don't trade the chop... and you won't have to trade the chop if your edge doesn't occur in it. the less you trade chop, the less you'll have to worry about being pickpocketed.
agree with ya risktaker. No natural buying/selling interest except for the few times a quarter when "they" have to re-position. Rest of the time this market is on auto pilot.
The way I see it, some big assholes keep the ''market'' (the main indexes like NDX, SP500, Dow, etc) dead by *constantly* raising several sectors up to get buyers in. At the same time, they drop a bunch of other sectors to flush out sellers. As soon as this process is done, BAM!, they reverse the entire process. In the meantime, Lots of activity, but no *real* movement in the market because it's all fake shit! Who the hell does this is what I'd like to know. Looks to me that it's somebody with a LOT of capital to move this crap like this. This activity has been going on now for several months and seems to just get worse with time. btw, I think builders are worth taking a shot on the short side here or maybe tomorrow
