  3. Yeh, well speaking of max max, the drive-thru of various retail businesses might need to be altered a bit when they see what the citizenry is driving to beef up their survival a bit.

You want fries with that or does that complete your order? Okay pull ahead and pay at the first window.

  4. Funny thing is I was thinking the same thing that stores will go back to those drop down metal grates in front of the store. At least install them and leave them up if they are ugly but when shit hits the fan..DROP EM.

Those got torn up. The usual roll-down steel shutters used by mom and pop stores got peeled back and the stores looted. I'm talking about heavier construction.

Buddy, you have got to be one of the most tone deaf, stupid guys on here. How on earth can you post this incredibly racist shit on this site with everything going on right now ? You are the problem, you are for whatever reason extremely ignorant.

Police killed George Floyd, and now police does the autopsy to see whether police is responsible for his dead???????
No wonder there are never any cops guilty of anything. And surprise, George did not die from the knee of the policeman, George had many other issues that caused his death. Would you ever expect another conclusion?

In a REAL democracy with a REAL justice department that autopsy would have be done by a third party which is not involved or linked with any of the two parties involved. In the US the perpetrator is also the judge when it concerns police violence.
Unbelievable and unacceptable. This shows clearly that US justice is a complete fraude and/or joke. It seems to be like North Korean, Russian or Chinese justice system. The one who is in power decides what the judgement will be.

"A second independent autopsy on George Floyd's body shows that the man died of asphyxiation. Earlier an autopsy of the police revealed that Floyd had not been killed by strangulation, but that it was based on a combination of factors. The second autopsy contradicts that conclusion and also states that Floyd already died at the place of his arrest, not in the hospital.

The independent autopsy - commissioned by the George Floyd family - concludes: George Floyd's death was "caused by suffocation from neck and back compression, which led to a lack of blood flow to the brain." The independent doctors believe it was murder that included the weight of the two other agents on Floyd's back, the handcuffs and the forced demeanor that contributed to Floyd's death.

The doctors from the first autopsy should be fired and sued for false declaration. These doctors keep the corrupt system alive.

More and more mall business owners are finding out that their insurance claims are being denied. In some instances Insurance companies are claiming that civil disturbances are not covered thereby forcing business owners to escalate their problems to the state insurance commissioner. Many business owners are finding exceptions in their policies for many individual items such as plate glass. This is all on top of high deductibles. Basically small business owners who stores have been looted are finding out they will not be financially be made whole by their insurance companies; many will go out of business due to the looting.

Raleigh businesses learning insurance doesn't always cover broken glass after looting
    https://abc11.com/business/raleigh-...nce-doesnt-always-cover-broken-glass/6249211/

When the peaceful protests ended in downtown Raleigh on the last Saturday in May, business owners watched as darkness fell and violence erupted.

"I just saw the mass destruction had started. And I also saw that they had gotten in the store by forcing their way in through the first window and they broke the small security gate," Alan Horwitz told ABC 11.

Alan Horwitz's family has owned businesses in downtown Raleigh for generations since the 1930s.

On the night of May 30, he rushed downtown, got inside his store, and armed himself as the violence continued.

He described that night as "just a nightmare."

Weeks later Reliable Jewelry and many other downtown businesses are still boarded up and owners are still trying to recover.

But Horwitz is already thinking about the future.

"I don't want my store to ever be penetrated again. And I have to upgrade my double-pane glass, which I never thought I would have to, to a special forced-entry glass," he said.

The day after, as volunteers helped with the clean-up, rumors were swirling that business owners and landlords weren't covered by insurance.

The Horwitz family owns their building and on the night of the violence, Horwitz wasn't sure about his insurance on the building or the contents.

"I didn't know the extent of the coverage honestly that we had in that we were fully protected, which is nice at the end of the day," he said, and he added, "It just doesn't take the sting out."

But at least they had coverage.

And North Carolina's insurance commissioner says that's the case with most of the damaged properties.

"The businesses that have a crime policy or crime covered under a policy are generally in good shape for any type of theft or looting that occurs," Mike Causey said.

To gain entry to the buildings, looters broke plate-glass windows.

And, Causey said, some of that broken glass may not be covered depending on the insurance policy.

"The plate glass, you have to have a special glass rider. It's limited coverage generally under a commercial insurance policy. So, if you've got a lot of plate glass, it may not all be covered," Causey said.

The glass at Reliable Jewelry was covered but they will have to pay extra for the upgrade to "forced entry" glass which will hopefully prevent any future looting.
