I heard elsewhere from a trusted source they're going to rollback the TOS platform to the previous version tonight, but that's not been confirmed elsewhere. We'll see.

Nice, thanks for the update. I would appreciate them doing that and then just leave it alone!

Good call on the rverse to the 1678.. I'm glad! Except every damn chart I had up has to be redrawn...

I actually had to rollback my 'settings' to an earlier version, since just doing the rollback of the application gave me no quote data. Rolling back my settings to a version (via the splash page options) from a few weeks ago and my platform looks okay again. For now.

    Like, WTF.

Not sure about the splash page options to be honest, I just relaoded all my styles and drawings via the saved style/draw functions, still a pain though. I'm just glad to have the active trader back to normal.. Suprised to see those 1037/40's still holding.. figured 3rd tap and boom

  7. Noticed major problems with my computer locking up yesterday, remembered they posted a msg about folks complaining about slow response, and closed the platform. Went to web-based trading only.
Having noticed this thread, I've reopened the platform, and I notice it's back, as you guys said, to the previous build.
Also, my computer is running just fine with the platform up.
I've noticed some subtle changes since TD took over, none of them good. This one was really not good.
I don't think, in fact I know, they don't appreciate the delicate jewel that was TOS. Someone needs to clue them in fast. If even someone like me, who's pretty easy to please usually, notices things going downhill, then things really are getting bad.

  8. I don't use TOS. But this story reminds me of Schwab's take-over of CyberTrader. I loved CyberTrader a few years back. But since Schwab took them over and did the "integration", they managed to turn Cyber into crap.

Typical story it sounds like. TD is really screwing the pooch here, unless the just leave the 1678 which is fine. I wonder how many of the old TOS guys are still there or if they brought in there own half a$$ techie children?

I'm thinking of using TOS. What are your opinions of TOS these days? Is it reliable?
