A few thoughts on what is out there for the average trader. Swifttrade (who hasn't worked there?) always changing payouts and turnover is very very high. They eat losses but only a few ever make any money. Most leave after a month or so. Can't trade at home. Questrade.com, use your own money get 4:1 margin, and ECN rebates, keep 90-100% of upside. Trade at home. Very easy to deal with, I was there as well. Software is way more advanced and updates always coming out. It does not crash!
Questrade.com and Swift Trade seem to be the only places to trade in the Toronto area. I'm wondering...am I missing some options as far as my trading career goes? There doesn't seem to be any place to go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
