Your problem with TST was technical (not being able to use mobile app), was that problem solved? Or have you decided to use a laptop? You didn't elaborate on that one...

I don't really care either way, just found it funny that you changed your mind without explanation. :)

It was clear to others, Pekelo. Just not to you, apparently. What matters is that you chose on the basis of something you'd misunderstood to try to ridicule a fellow-member. I ask you again: are you sure that you should be posting in this thread?

  3. Thanks Xela,

Its all good man. Pekelo has a right to post whatever he likes. I take no offense to it at all. I take all comments rather good or bad for my trading business. My goal is to make money and get help and help as needed. I am blessed to have ET forum to even respond to my thoughts and questions.

Yes the problem is solved. I will use a laptop and follow the rules.

  5. I know that I said a couple of critical things about Topstep in terms of data fees however,I still plan on signing up with them at some point in the near future. I think passing a combine and becoming a funded trader is a great accomplishment.

Heck, I think it is worth the monthly fee if you just wanted to try out a new trading platform with realtime data. I have demoed futures platforms in the past with brokers and they constantly nag you "are you ready to trade yet?" and "just checking in, how are things". It is annoying as hell. It is worth paying the monthly fee just to be left alone.

  6. Agreed with you. Paying the combine fee is worth every penny if you accomplish this and your confidence level increases. And you have a challenge ahead of you to trade with discipline, consistency, and profitability at a low cost.

  7. Yes, and there's a big difference between trading your own demo and the TST demo, where you're trading within a strict set of parameters and you're being held accountable for meeting those parameters.

  8. Hello, here is an update

My review is all positive, even though I am not doing well. The emotions and mistakes are worth the $150 per month, versus the losses in an actual account with an unproven strategy. I am enjoying it and I feel accountable for my trading business and challenged. I hope I do well going forward.

    My results so far.

  9. The one thing I noticed from the screen shot is on the day you came close to the max daily draw, you had 3 trades with 2 ES lots at a 6 tick stop, and one breakeven trade. That's a tight stop if you're going to take multiple trades a day on multiple lots. There is very little margin for error on the combine.

In any case, best of luck going forward. You still have plenty of time.
