There are several traders passing the newly designed "continuous combine" so the move to eliminate the time limit was a smart move. They also changed another rule, now the passing # of days is 45% (the old rule was 55%). Again, this is biased in favor of the trader, just like the prior rule changes.
Does anybody know what the most a trader has earned during a combine? I'm a professional trader and I know I could easily pass the 150k 10 day combine, but I want to set a record for highest earning combine.
Well, that number is rather irrelevant. As long as you are 1 dollar above the target, you are good. Not to mention the Combine is just the first step, 3 others others to fail you. Also, if you are that good, why not just become a backed trader and blow everyone away with real money? You could be their best advertising mascot and proud of yourself at the same time, not to mention making real money in the process....
That's what I figured. They say they are trying to find undiscovered trading talent, but the traders with that talent do not need an account from them. It is obviously geared towards novice traders. Still a great learning tool for traders.
That is true. Many traders are sceptical that day traders can make it and I want to show what is possible and provide motivation to struggling traders. I have a destination wedding to attend to and will not be able to trade for a few weeks but when I return I will start a journal and post my daily combine results.
Well, since you asked, this guy was the best I recall I have ever seen. He made 10K in his 3K profit target Combine with 90% winning days. He reached his LTP target after 2 days, after 5 days he was OKed for backing: https://www.bigmiketrading.com/trad...other-topsteptrader-combine-9.html#post466325
To give yourself additional "motivation", you can post your daily trade results here for the world to see.
