@letterB regarding your two questions ,Eur/Usd pair is almost identical to 6e future instrument counterpart in terms of candlestick shape ,but the price is slightly different one or two points or pips.also candlestick shapes are different in lower timeframes like m1.m2 and sometimes m5. regarding MT4 entry methods,Ninjatrader uses the almost similar method but not same as MT4 ,i found futures instrument far more clear and better than FX counterparts due to advantage of trading volume is included in data
I'm sorry guys, I've gotten through probably 50 pages and haven't found the answer to this yet. Maybe I've overlooked it. Please post a link to the thread or response if this has been answered before, I apologize. #1 Is there anyone on here that has actually been funded through the combines, by TST, Surcap or any of these firms that do the paid trials? #2 I did a search for Surcap and it brought me here with not much other info.
Ah found one! Awesome Crispy! What program did you fund you with, and have they increased your balance over the year?
Been looking to, and on another site which heavily sponsored ( kick backs ) the use of paid combines, errr no one as yet!! 2 which passed the initial money making requirements but was rejected for not being consistent enough I think it was. IMHO don't bother shame!!
Ugh, yeah, like, there is a guy that has posted on this thread and many others who has been funded for over a year. I know this is ET guys, but we need to raise the bar here to at least "literate". I love ET!
Come on man, it's easy to just say, "use search" but it doesnt always come up what you're looking for, (depends what you put to search, no?). Like I said in the post. I did a search and this was the only thing that came up. Actually searched Surcap Trading... I guess you didn't see the post right after that one, already acknowledged I found a guy and his post (I guess we all need to uphold the precious "literate" bar)... Thanks for all your help
The real question still is after 4+ plus years of combines are any funded traders netting more than $30,000 a year from this gig ? After this long off timeframe is it $hitty traders causing poor performance or is the business model engineered to cause you to fail if you play their game long enough ?
My guess is, although they may take on the best of the best to live trade for them, this is very few and used for advertising, they just want 1000's of dreamers paying for there chance of the big time. Odds are so low on being chosen, its just a con really imho.
Yeah exactly, hard to tell and THAT'S my question.......I'd bet the former to be honest, it doesn't look THAT difficult (although I'm no trading savant). I would say if you're still trading combines after 4 years, honestly this may not be for "you", or "you" have quite a bit of OTHER education that you need to work on in order to get closer to being consistently profitable. FWIW, I've been lurking off an on for a few years here as a guest and never created an account until now. Im not a rookie to trading, been out of the game for a couple years, but I have managed a substantial amount of funds before. Time constraints on my other business didn't allow me to be a full time trader and I let that part of my business go...(client focus on other transactions etc.) I'm now ready to make the commitment to be a full time trader and just looking for the best venue to add some buying power to get myself moving along and go from there independently. I don't want to waste much time with the games some groups play and trying to dial in some real results from a group that can deliver. Mostly FX, Energy Futures, and Precious Metals are my things. Looking for some good info here and you guys have a lot of that. I'm just a little low on personal capital and looking for a bump-up.
No, the sad truth is very few people have any real edge. Just having access to a DOM and moving averages is not going to make you rich. I know no one wants to hear that. But the data absolutely backs that up. It has not nothing to do with TST. We've discussed this ad nausem on here. I use to run a prop office and I saw all the P&L of all the traders. The markets simply do not provide welfare to those who simply hate their corporate job and want out or those who think they can trade from their basement looking at squiggly lines. Don't get me wrong, I personally would love for that fantasy to be possible. I also would love to believe there is a really fat generous guy from the north pole who once every year flew around the world and delivered presents to all the good little girls and boys of the world. But yeah, we have data on that as well. If TST is guilty of anything, is that they set the bar so low that they attract every hobo on ET with a dream and a credit card. There is no crime in that of course. It is what it is. There are countless TST journals you can peruse at your convenience on this forum. You can see for yourself what I'm talking about. Just a bunch of punters who think running tights stops or averaging down is an edge. They are not.
