The fills are real time. You are mistaken.

And money managers? LOL. They are not looking for money managers anymore then Don Bright is. Typical message board crap here.

I haven't done much sim trading but normally I would tend to agree with you.
However having done their combine/sim platform it seemed to give some pretty realistic fills as far as I could tell. Including frequently not getting a fill, despite numerous prints at my limit order price.

Maybe I should give up a month and go through the combine. For me, I guess I have a hard time giving up income to prove a point. A few traders on ET have given thier time, and none have met the goals for TST. I would love to have someone else pay me to trade, but I llok at the people here who claim they make their living off trading fail the TST Combine. Why woulod I want tpo give a month of income? I would be glad to give the leverage to grow my income, but I am not seeing this from ST. I see they are mainly looking to prevent them losing money. Ok, that is fine, but don't sell a story.

I know a couple of guys here who have passed the combine and are being backed. They refuse to post because they don't want to be attacked. I'm not going to mention their names.

Most the guys here, with the exception of Austinp, who tried the combine were NOT daytraders, but swing traders or stock traders, etc. I hate to break this to you but just because a guy can play basketball doesn't mean he can hit a curve ball.

And would you have to give up a month of income? You can't trade at night, early morning, late afternoon, any other time you don't normally trade? This makes no sense to me. Markets are open 24 hours a day. Sure you are not trading all 24 of those right now.

Ok, I appreciate that some aren't willing to go public, but then again, why do they contact you about their success? Or maybe they aren't. I trade in the day hours CST and that is the way it is. I would like to trade 2 hours earlier, but it doesn't work for me.
I dohave a life, and 5 years ago I traded earlier, but these are my hours now.

Maybe the people you reference can trade 24/7. I guess I don't buy that story.

Huh? What I'm trying to say is, pick a time of day where you are NOT active with your own trading and trade the combine. It's not rocket science.

The guys who are backed contacted me privately to tell me their experience with the combine and said they wanted to stay off the various threads regarding TST because it was nothing but personal attacks.

What personal attacks for people who can demonstrate success? Success is promoted, so how is it denigrated and a problem to demonstrate?

I guess that is a story that sounds good, and in my years of trading I have heard the various vendors who have a similiar story. "oh you need to trade the hours I am showing you". What are those hours? Really, they contact you , but they can't demonstrate their success to ET? OK!

Valid questions to a potential business partner are not a personal attack.

Even the guys who posted their failure of the combine on here have not been attacked so what the hell are you talking about ?

I'm still on the fence on tst but a lot of the rules do not make sense if there true intent is on backing traders to make 40% off of.
