  1. Can someone please clarify how this will impact the trading hours of the live combine? My interpretation is that it will allow for an additional 45 minutes of trading time, or do the trades still have to be closed before 3:15pm CST?

"New Trading Hours for CME Group Equity Index Products Summary - Starting Today | November 18, 2012

Trading on CME Globex resumes for SAME TRADE DATE - 3:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.

    Close of CME Globex trading for trade date - 4:15 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Market Re-Opens and Trades until the next days 15-minute Trading Halt at 3:15 p.m."

  3. Pekelo- We are working out small issues with the addition of Ninjatrader. We understand many will want to use this in the ET group Combine so we want to be 100% confident all issues have been resolved before we begin the group Combine.

I will be updating everyone when we are set to go.

  4. ScalperJoe- We require all recruits to be flat by 3:10pm CST. We understand the markets are open a bit longer but for the most part the trading day is over.

You mentioned a discount earlier. Any idea yet what that might be? I'm just wondering if it's enough to be worth waiting on.

  6. Lucrum- I have not received word on the discount amount. I do know they mentioned a discount at the meeting we discussed the ET group Combine. It would most likely be similar to our other discounts. Probably in the ball park of 10-20% off. Will have more info soon.

  7. 1) Instead of a "Group Combine", why not just a contest similar to what you had at the beginning of the year where the winner(s) get funded and other top finishers get some type of cash award? Since you did it once, shouldn't it be easy to do that again?
    2) Such a format can encourage recklessness but you have to believe that the upper echelon finishers have to have some measure of consistency and edge to their trading.

  8. Nazzdack- from a scouting point of view it does not help develop a trader. We believe in developing traders and the Combine does a great job of this. We will have those challenges from time to time but the scout team is more a fan of the talent that comes out of the Combine then a trading Challenge.

    Great questions btw,

  9. They sent out an email for "CyberMonday" special, I just saw it and signed up, 20% off the combine.

It did not give a choice of platforms upon checkout, so I guess I'll be using the T4, which of course is not as ideal as Ninja, however I don't have a license key and I've already used both platforms on sim, so I'll just have to deal with the T4.

    Ok, hope for the best!

I got that email as well and also signed up. Admittedly I don't like everything about their T4 platform, but I can live with it.
