This was a good week. The year has been more or less flat so far, let us not forget what happened same time last year. I haven't really noticed a spike in volume or money coming into the market yet. But having said hat, money has not left the market either. So my status is still "laying in wait"...... Have a Great Week-End! .
Greetings Gang! Nothing new to add, I am all cash waiting for the right moment. I would have cashed in the last 2-3 days if I was holding If you go back and look in Sep, we had a similar market. I know it seems like the train is leaving the station. Trust me, it never does, this will turn before you know it. But when it does we need to be ready. I will start posting my watch list as soon as I see a weakness in the market so that everyone can do their DD. Cheers!
Gang! Yesterdays action was expected. Please read my previous 3-4 posts. I am currently on "Wait and Watch" mode. I would not hesitate to buy individual stocks with explosive earnings. But for ETFs I am going to wait. Cheers!
Let me admit yesterdays(13.Jan.2009) action did catch me off guard. But here is where thin slicing the market adds value. The bounce was not really a strong one. The vol was below average. Money really did not flow into the market. Thus my status is the same: "Wait and Watch". You can follow me on twitter here if you want.
I did not get any QID yesterday. My scans showed very interesting details:

Volume was below average.
Even though it was a positive day, money never really came in.
Infact I feel the big money is slowly exiting.
I still do believe it is a bull run in the long term, but for the short term horizon, I am going to wait to enter. Patience my friends!
Hey overkil2, I would just wait, when the time is right, EWZ would be good buy. Right now, the market needs to rebalance. Let us give it some time to settle down.
My thesis of money slowly seeping out of the market was dead right on. I am not a big fan of shorting the market, though this would have been a good opportunity. The money actually started leaving on 11.Jan.2010 according to my scans, you can check my previous posts on this forum. Having said that Options-Fri are not trust worthy trading days. Now we wait for the market to settle down and then we pounce. Have a FANTASTIC week-end! You can also follow me here. Cheers!
in my opinion i would wait... i think we may be due for a retracement. But the market could care less to what i think...so take this with a grain of salt
