Steve Bannon called Mike Pence a 'disgusting coward' after the former vice president criticized calls to defund the FBI Matthew Loh 1 hour ago https://www.businessinsider.com/ste...pence-criticizing-defund-the-fbi-calls-2022-8 Steve Bannon criticized Mike Pence in a harsh string of insults on Wednesday. Tasos Katopodis/Getty Images Steve Bannon skewered former Vice President Mike Pence for calling for attacks on the FBI to stop. Bannon, an ex-White House chief strategist, called Pence a "disgusting coward" for the remarks. Bannon's insults show how far Trumpworld is willing to go in attacking its former close allies. Trump ally and adviser Steve Bannon eviscerated former Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday for rebuking GOP politicians who called for the FBI to be defunded, in another example of the widening gap between Trumpworld and Republican lawmakers who decline to take part in its rhetoric. "Pence, you are a disgusting coward. Just even the sight of you bugs me," Bannon said during his show "War Room" on right-wing network Real America's Voice. In a lengthy rant criticizing Pence's productivity in the Trump administration, Bannon blasted the former vice president with a series of insults, which included calling him a "mindless, gutless simp." At a New Hampshire event earlier that day, Pence said: "These attacks on the FBI must stop. Calls to defund the FBI are just as wrong as calls to defund the police." While he didn't mention any Republicans by name, some of Trump's most vocal supporters on the Hill — such as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona, and Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado — have advocated to defund, investigate, and "destroy" the FBI. Their calls were prompted by the bureau's raid last Monday of former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate. Shortly after the search, the FBI warned of an increased number of threats made to its agents and headquarters. Pence also condemned the threats against the FBI and said that the Republican party "is the party of law and order." In response, Bannon argued that the FBI's raid represented the actions of a "police state," which he said justified why some Republicans were calling for its dismantling. "There is no comparison of any defunding the police," he claimed. "We've never called for defunding the police. We're calling for defunding the police state." While Bannon has a history of making controversial remarks and wild claims without basis, his latest comments on Pence are another example of a high-profile Trump loyalist lashing out at even former close allies whose stances differ from Trump's. Bannon, too, has fallen out with Trump before. He was one of the most influential people in the Trump White House until he was sacked in August 2017. However, in 2020, Trump pardoned Bannon, who was facing charges of money laundering and mail fraud conspiracy. The two have since continued making positive remarks about each other. In July, Bannon was found guilty of two counts of contempt of Congress, after he repeatedly refused to comply with the House Select Committee investigating the Capitol attack. He is set to be sentenced in October but has vowed to appeal the guilty verdict.
Anti-Trump conservative group says the GOP has become an 'authoritarian nationalist cult' that worships Donald Trump Cheryl Teh 2 hours ago Former President Donald Trump attending a rally in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on August 5. Scott Olson/Getty Images The Lincoln Project said Liz Cheney's election loss marked "the end of the Republican Party." The anti-Trump group said the party now only bears the GOP "name and branding." The group called the new GOP "an authoritarian nationalist cult dedicated only to Donald Trump." The Lincoln Project — an anti-Trump conservative group — said this week that Rep. Liz Cheney's loss in her Wyoming GOP primary race marked the demise of the old Republican Party. "Tonight, the nation marks the end of the Republican Party," read the organization's statement released Tuesday. "What remains shares the name and branding of the traditional GOP, but is in fact an authoritarian nationalist cult dedicated only to Donald Trump," the statement added. Lauding Cheney, the Lincoln Project's team said she had "stood up to the lawless, reckless attack on our nation" that Trump led. The group also hit out at the Trump-backed Harriet Hageman — who ousted Cheney — calling her a "reality-denying conspiracy theorist who promotes the "Big Lie" and bends a knee to Donald Trump." "Liz Cheney showed America what a dedicated public servant driven by principle is like; it's no wonder today's GOP hates her," the statement read. "We thank her for her service, and look forward to seeing her next chapter. America needs her and more people like her." Representatives for Hageman and Trump did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Insider. Insider has also reached out to a representative for the GOP for comment. Cheney's loss this week marked Trump's biggest primary victory yet. The former president also gloated about her defeat, saying Cheney "can finally disappear into the depths of political oblivion." Lawyer George Conway — the husband of Trump confidante Kellyanne Conway — was among several Republicans who helped found the Lincoln Project, a political action committee dedicated to keeping Trump from being re-elected. The organization's leadership warned in 2021 that Trump was a "clear and present danger" and has organized demonstrations to push anti-Trump messages. Its current slate of board members includes political strategists Rick Wilson and Reed Galen.
It's unfathomable. The man is stupid, selfish and lazy. He has no scruples, and is a cheat. WTF can worship such a narcistic, backstabbing sloth? Evidently, those who aspire to it.
“I totally support ethnonationalism,” Loomer stated in 2017. “Someone asked me, ‘Are you pro-White nationalism?’ Yes. I’m pro-white nationalism.” https://www.mediaite.com/politics/i...-accept-election-defeat-but-thems-the-breaks/
Webster beat her by 7 points. Not even a close election. She is a nut case. It is amusing to see all of these Big Lie clowns not accept the results of their own primaries despite losing by big margins.

Stiffed vendors, huge financial losses, and a trademark denial: Truth Social faces an uncertain future amid concerns over Trump's dwindling popularity and continued controversies Katherine Tangalakis-Lippert 2 hours ago https://www.businessinsider.com/tru...amid-concerns-over-trump-controversies-2022-8 A phone displaying Donald Trump's Truth Social app in the Apple App Store. Christoph Dernbach/picture alliance via Getty Images A company seeking to merge with Truth Social cited Trump's reputation as an "important factor" to its financial success in an SEC filing. As Trump contends with ongoing legal battles, Digital World said its financial footing "could be adversely affected." Truth Social is accused of stiffing a vendor out of more than $1 million in contractually obligated payments. The future of the former president's 10-month-old social media platform, Truth Social, is on uncertain ground as the app faces huge financial losses and is accused of shorting its vendors amid Donald Trump's continued legal controversies. A planned merger between the Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), the business that created the Truth Social platform, and the special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) Digital World Acquisition Corp, has been postponed indefinitely as the Securities and Exchange Commission investigates the platform's business dealings. SPACs like Digital World are companies formed either to raise funds through an initial public offering or for the purpose of merging with an existing company. SPACs have no other commercial operations. In an SEC filing earlier this month, Digital World said it had "neither engaged in any operations nor generated any revenues to date" as its sole purpose was to prepare to take Truth Social public. In another filing, Digital World sought shareholder approval to delay the merger, set to take place Sept. 8, until next year, citing concerns over the former president's reputation potentially impacting business. "If President Trump becomes less popular or there are further controversies that damage his credibility or the desire of people to use a platform associated with him, and from which he will derive financial benefit, TMTG's results of operations, as well as the outcome of the proposed Business combination, could be adversely affected," the filing read. Digital World's stock has plunged more than 75 percent since its peak in March — from a high of $97.54 a share to $27.52 each — and in a recent SEC filing the company reported it lost $6.5 million in the first half of the year. This week, Truth Social was dealt another blow as its trademark application was denied on Thursday for being too similar to another social app called "Vero — True Social." Further illuminating the social platform's financial woes, Fox Business News reported on Thursday that Truth Social is locked in a bitter battle with its vendor, RightForge, and is accused of stiffing the hosting service out of $1.6 million in contractually obligated payments. Three people with direct knowledge of the matter told Fox Business News that Truth Social made just three payments to RightForge for its web hosting services and stopped making payments in March. Other Trump businesses have faced similar payment battles before, including contractors who claim they were left unpaid for more than $2.98 million after repairs at the Trump International Hotel and a small business owner who said Trump stiffed him $100,000 worth of pianos. Unpaid bills at the Taj Mahal Casino Resort amounted $90 million, while three liens were placed against Trump's DC hotel after $5 million in contractors fees were left unpaid. Trump's companies have filed for bankruptcy at least six times — a fact Digital World noted in SEC filings, The Washington Post reported, saying: "a number of companies that were associated with [Trump] have filed for bankruptcy" and that "there can be no assurances that [Trump's media company] will not also become bankrupt." Representatives for Trump, TMTG, Truth Social and RightForge did not immediately respond to Insider's requests for comment.
Trump: I will fully pardon and apologize to January 6 rioters Former US President vows to issue full pardons and a government apology to US Capitol rioters should he run and win in 2024. Sep 1, 2022 https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/359132 Donald Trump Shealah Craighead/White House official Former US President Donald Trump said on Thursday he would issue full pardons and a government apology to rioters who stormed the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, The Washington Post reported. “I mean full pardons with an apology to many,” Trump was quoted as having told conservative radio host Wendy Bell. Such a move would be contingent on Trump running and winning the 2024 presidential election. Trump also said he met with some January 6 defendants in his office this week and that he is helping some financially. “I am financially supporting people that are incredible and they were in my office actually two days ago, so they’re very much in my mind,” Trump told Bell. “It’s a disgrace what they’ve done to them. What they’ve done to these people is disgraceful.” A spokesman for Trump did not immediately respond to a request for comment about how the former President is financially supporting the rioters. The former President told Bell on Thursday that if “I decide to run, and if I win, I will be looking very, very strongly about pardons, full pardons.” “That is probably going to be best, because even if they go for two months or six months [to jail], they have sentences that could go a lot longer than that,” he added. Trump suggested that the January 6 defendants are “mostly” “firemen, they’re policemen, they’re people in the military.” He accused the justice system, which he described as “this radical left system,” of mistreating the defendants. In January, Trump made similar comments regarding pardoning some of those charged for their part in the riots on the US Capitol last year if he were to run in the 2024 presidential election and win. "If I run, and if I win, we will treat those people from January 6th fairly. We will treat them fairly. And if it requires pardons, we will give them pardons because they are being treated so unfairly," Trump said at a rally he held in Texas. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) later distanced himself from Trump’s suggestion and said the comments are “inappropriate.” “No, I don't want to send any signal that it was OK to defile the Capitol,” Graham said. “There are other groups with causes that may want to go down to the violent path that these people get pardoned,” he added. “I think it's inappropriate. ... I don't want to do anything that would make this more likely in the future.” Trump has not publicly confirmed if he is planning to run again for president in the 2024 election, but has hinted at such a run several times. In one radio interview,Trump said that the only thing that could prevent him from running would be “a bad call from a doctor or something”. Before that, in an interview with Fox News,Trump said that he has already made up his mind regarding a 2024 run, but couldn’t explicitly declare his intentions because of “campaign financing” issues.
