Top Dems Well Aware Of CIA Interrogations

  1. ...and show trials???? SHOW TRIALS??? WTF???
News flash: Obama has been resisting any investigation of what Bush did.
Further news flash: if someone calls a serious investigation in a republic, mind you, a show trial, that someone is not someone you should be paying any attention to.
Seriously, and this is a serious question: do any of you over on the, ahem, dark side, have a shred of decency or courage? Any at all?

  2. I'm not going to do the investigation for a scumsucking cowardly sewer rat such as yourself, but if you bothered to, you would find that all four services voiced very serious objections to the Bush Admin's attempt to redefine torture as "enhanced" interrogation. They did so both because of the law and because they knew that any info gained would be unreliable.
Given that these folks do this stuff for a living, I'll go with what they say over what you say 367 out of 365 days of the year.
You are a citizen of a republic. You act like the subject of a dictator.

  3. I didn't make any trades today. How is that relevant to a discussion the a political forum? I suppose in your leftist universe you think you're opinion has more value because you made a trade. If that's the case, your boy in the white house has no valued opinions at all.
You continue to practice the tactics of the left. When defeated, change the subject. I must congratulate you on your complete transformation in to a total leftist loon.

  4. Your opinion only about what has been "fairly established," sorry.

That you decline to answer the question leads me to assume that you would not be willing to waterboard someone like KMS. Fair enough.

  5. Well hey, Mr. Moral Equivalency, there are CIA officials who have stated that waterboarding has been effective, and I'll go with what they say over your treat-terrorists-with-silk-gloves-and-a-danish philosophy anytime.

To me, the treatment of a terrorist who has killed Americans is secondary, very secondary, to saving more American lives. To you, it's more important that we don't waterboard the terrorist, nevermind the consequences. If more Americans are killed, too bad so sad. You can still pat yourself on the back and tell yourself you're a decent human being.

Say, does the fact that we waterboard members of our own military for their survival training bother you? Are you going to rail to the military that they are acting like the subjects of a dictator?

  6. They waterboard them to prevent them from giving in under torture, fool.
Go back to cowering under the rock you slithered out from.

  7. There is no expert you can find who will say that torture produces reliable information. Not one. I say this with absolute & full confidence.
Go out and find me a statement from any branch of the US military stating anything like that torture is in any way effective. You can look 'til the cows come home. You'll never find it.

  8. Idiot. It is done to prepare them for the reality of being captured. "Prevent" my ass. Everyone has a breaking point.

You seriously need to grow up and stop living in perpetual moral adolescence. You think waterboarding is even used by Al Qaeda and the other jihadists?!? Do you even read what REAL torture is done to our captured servicemen?

Perhaps you do, but, being Mr. Moral Equivalency, it escapes you.

Look, if inflicting extreme temporary discomfort in order to ensure the perpetuation of future health is classified as "torture," Eric Holder should arrest my dentist.

  9. This, by the way, is a naked appeal to emotion, a standard tactic of demagogues. That, and an appeal to fear, their other standard tactic. Of course, the people who like them also resort to this shitty tactic. No surprise there.
Now, if you actually go back and reread what you quoted from me, you won't find any statement about moral equivalence. What you will find is that US generals are against it for the simple and practical reason that it endangers our soldiers in the field.
I called you swine, cowardly swine, because that is precisely what you are: not because you would do what the people who tortured those soldiers did, or because you're advocating the equivalent. You're swine because your fear has so taken you over that you would throw away rights won for you over 200 years by men who fought and died for them merely because you're scared. These men fought at different times when the US was directly attacked, twice by the British, in the Revolution and in 1812, by Mexico 100 years later, and by Japan at Pearl Harbor. None of those brave men gave in to their fears to the extent you and your fellows have.
They knew what they were fighting for, and it sure wasn't the right to torture.
    You are despicable.

  10. TGregg

    TGregg

It's typical that a moron libtard thinks that fundamentalist Islamics who engage in real torture would only subject their victims to waterboarding. In their wiffle-ball universe perhaps if we gave terrorists we caught truffles and cheese every day, why then they'd give our soldiers three squares a day.
