I disagree. For example, DRYS had the trend start I caught the trend and did all the rules of trading. It had volume and price expansion and I jumped in. Was a hell of a trade until the halt. But from a trading perspective, that was a trade, lit up my vol indicator and met my criteria. That's why it's so upsetting. If you are only trading what everyone else trades, where's the money going to come from?... I wish it was a troll thread, I just feel like anytime there's "easy money" it gets taken away. So if I am only going to make peanuts trading blue chips, what is the point? Another stock I was trading they instituted some .05 cent spread rule making the volume practically vanish. Look it up, November. It pisses me off to even look at that chart..... literally 50K wiped out in a few seconds...
Off course it is... However, I did find out that ORIG, same CEO of DRYS... has options!!! And that gets me exited
Lol Guy is up 3 million unrealized gets screwed by every imaginable person in the industry and then has to ask elite Trader for advice, pure LULZ.
This was the chart I made and used, and it ran and there was a legit gap. If they didn't halt it, could of went to $500+. I bought on the breakout with volume as you are supposed to. I had a stop too, stops don't do squat when you get halted. I am being open and honest with what I have experienced.
I think my chart looks way better... with multiple gaps closed in loops... those you need to have on your chart... best ever...
DRYS is a massive buy though... since they own 59.4% of ORIG, which is valued at 100mln... and DRYS is currently 46mln. So definitely at least 25% undervalued... go in big (or don't go in at all... )!
well then give me legit feedback instead of think I am trolling, I assure you I am not. I literally got my signal saw the gap, gap closing, high vol, had a stop at breakout point etc. From a trading perspective, I do not think I did much wrong as the halt is what killed me. So the only input I can think of is I should not have been trading DRYS. But if that's the case how do you filter something like that out, fundamentals? I always thought the chart includes everything you need to know. The shipping industry was on fire in Nov.
