too much emphasis on defense in trading

  1. So if I have not had a losing day in nearly a year, I wonder if the wise man would tell me to prepare and trade defensively, as my day is coming?

  4. I can achieve 90% win rates and drawdowns on the losers so tiny that you need a microscope to see them.


    Problem is, it's next to impossible to make large amounts of money with those parameters.

    You have to speculate to accumulate.

    You have to be willing to get creamed to cream the serious profits off the top.

    No way around that EXCEPT by hook and crook.

  10. Well, I don't know about all of this below..

    But having a vision and a plan helped me..

    But what do I know, I am defensive...(but I prefer to be intelligently defensive, and not a gambler, Thank you)

    Hey I get nervous trading Retail Spot Forex at under 10:1...I am not a discretionary winner, I guess...

    no pain...no gain...well how bout' less pain... less gain...
