The fraud is the dude that is doing everything possible to "lol" his way out of posting a run. I will ride his ass and his "pro boys" BS into oblivion.
Absolutely yes. Traders should understand the risk they are exposed to when they trade. Losing out in trading is obvious in the beginning. In trading , you learn more when you lose . That is when you can revisit the decisions you took , see their consequences and make an alternative strategy to avoid further losses . So its better to not be a cry baby all the time and take responsibility for your decisions and learn from those mistakes. I don’t think there is anyone who has never underwent a loss in trading. The best way is to learn from those mistakes and be positive.
I agree 100% that when you post a trade, it should be real instead of made up. You professionals use this forum to test your trades, challenge one another to see who makes a better call. It is like a friendly contests and I could see many of you derived great satisfactions from making the correct calls. Me, just a spectators. Yes, because you validated to yourself that you are still at the top of your game and there are few here who can match your skills. Trading our own funds for a living is a very lonely profession as most of us work in anonymity. Many of the wanna be would say money is the bottom line but I know how much money we make trading is not a good gage of how good we are. I agree. But then the other side of me says just let it go, this is an anonymous forum by anonymous posters. There are many folks faking it and live our their fantasy here, it is not difficult to pick them out but why deflate their dreams? It would be different if they try to defraud others by selling something worthless, then we need to call them out. As for @dozu888, not aware he is selling anything and I am actually impressed he made a few macro calls that were good calls. Many of you are naturally arrogant because you are good. Me? just a pleb trying to improve my trading skills. Cheers.
Your daughter probably has a lot of you in her, will turn out like you, doing just fine. She is pursuing her dream, living life her way, no regrets. Look at it like you purchased a 10-year $100K call option. My son quit medical school because he said we pushed him into it and he didn't like it. Fooled around a few years, then turned his life around, finished an online degree in business and is now part of a start up. I am happy he found his calling, his way.
