A message forum is for posting threads. You can pick out the people you don't want to hear from and simply block them. Its nice and easy, too.
It's not easy to block people? What's false about that? I just checked. Three clicks or so. Oh, the horror!
I'm not talking about blocking people's content, rather I am discussing the organization of postings in less threads where it's easier to keep track of. There is absolutely no reason to open a thread for every news article that comes out.
Um...ok. But if you block their content, it is easier to keep track of threads you are interested in. If you are simply saying you want individuals who are posting threads to post less threads because you like their content and want more summarization of their content in an easier to read format, might I suggest you appeal to them individually? I suspect, though, that you just don't like the topics being created - although you will no doubt tell me this is FALSE.
