And that is exactly what will happen. Most of his supporters will be disappointed in a man who promised the impossible. The other half refuses to accept a change in society where a guy can belittle everyone and be a bigot and still gets away with it. Worse, he tells everyone now it's time to unite after HE HIMSELF split the country in half

Yes, less than half which by definition is not a majority. So how about you hold back your arrogant horses. Without an idiot at the FBI and a electoral voting system that by Trump's own words belongs into the garbage, another con-woman would be in power right now. Surely this result should not bestow bragging rights on anyone.

You are a delusional fool. Anybody normal can see what a strange character you are, living in Canada yet claiming to be some great American "patriot" enticing his fantasy army of 60 million Americans to follow your vision.

The only impact Trump has on Canada is border and trade related. Neither impacts on me personally. If the border control gets tighter, that clearly impacts on you. Depending on your job, it could be an issue as well. Some US firms with satellite offices in Canada might close up.
Closed borders in the US means more affluent immigrants going to Canada, a further support to our real estate market. Nobody cares what you think of immigrants, the broad Canadian community embraces diversity to a level you'll never understand. If you don't like it, get the hell out of our country, we don't need you here. Go join your army in the US and do something real like pay income taxes to help pay off that massive US federal debt.

Even Trump knows he needs Canada somewhat on his side or there will be a huge hit to the US economy. You can't go hardball on everyone, and the trade surplus the US has with Canada is real.

The US is taking a hit on the world stage in terms of it's image because of this election ( Trump and Clinton ) . If he implements Hoover's protectionist policies, it will be a disaster for many Americans. If he takes a more mature and intelligent path, his core supporters will be disappointed, but it will be a better result.

I can't really measure the damage being done in the US on a social front, but Trump's making things worse right now. At some point, ordinary Americans have to understand their role in their issues. The answers to a lot of American problems can be seen in successful projects in other countries. They just don't want to see it, instead believing this idea that America will be great by some idealistic notion of unbridled capitalism. Health care is a great example of this.

Should we really blame Trump at all ? I'd blame the people who voted for him. Trump was just smart enough to be the guy they wanted, the guy who builds glitzy hotels, casinos, and golf courses that prove America is great ( even in foreclosure he claims the projects are great victories ). A lot of the same voters and politicians supported George W. Bush as well, and we all know how that turned out.

    Trump KILLED Hillary.

The entire Democratic Party + Republican Party + Republican National Committee + entire American MSM media + global Fortune 1000 + China + Mexico + Japan .....ALL tried DESPERATELY to destroy Trump. 24/7. No President in American history has EVER overcome those kinds of odds.

And despite all the constant Liberal media lies, and all the bullshit from Washington shills, Trump beat Hillary by 80 electoral votes.

... While winning less than half the popular vote. If you are still believing the country is not split right down in the middle then you can't be helped.

By the way the swamp in Washington he intended to drain he invited right into his living room. He surrounded himself with establishment guys and lobbyists.

The US is already losing all its power it has built for decades in the Pacific and Asia. China is already the huge winner in this whole election. When even a banana Republic like the Philippines want nothing to do with the US anymore then you know about the US's standing on a world stage.

Well Trump is partly to blame because he built a house of cards, a web of lies and his whole track record is built on Grey zone business practices, runins with the IRS, law suits he is accused of various things,... Hardly a guy other world leaders bestow a whole lot of trust. I would also prefer a steady Chinese hand any day over this baffoon.
